NOVEMBER, 2004: Thanks to your support, My Vote Will Count has directly helped over 10,000 citizens across the country. In addition, our volunteers have organized voter registration drives in many communities and campuses nationwide reaching many more. What was originally intended as a local 6-week project has grown to a nationwide effort. We believe strongly that by providing clear and straightforward information, we can greatly encourage larger participation in the electoral process. In our experience through this election, the need for simple and comprehensive voter registration information became extraordinarily apparent. We were glad to be able to serve as a resource, and having witnessed that need, we intend to provide that resource for future elections. If you are interested in getting involved, or if you have any skills or resources that you would like to contribute, please let us know! With greater preparation time and resource, we will be able to have an extraordinarily greater impact on future elections. With your help, we look forward again to providing a simple, effective resource to serve this country's needs. The mid-term elections have a rather low turnout rate.
